95 Percent of Students in Central Jakarta Get Vaccinated

This is a combined data from the number of students in private, public, madrasas and Islamic boarding schools

Around 95 percent of the total 81,000 students aged 12 to 17 and over in Central Jakarta have been injected with the vaccine.

According to Dhany Sukma, Mayor of Central Jakarta, it was held in collaboration with the Jakarta administration with stakeholders. "Including alumnus associations of several schools," he expressed, Monday (8/16).

He stated, five percent of students who had not been vaccinated, as they had a history of illness and were still in the healing process after being exposed to Covid-19.

"Those who are under recovery period will soon get vaccinated, just waiting for the vaccination schedule," he said.

Central Jakarta Education I Sub-agency Head, Slamet explained, up to August 15, as many as 36,030 out of 40,178 students had been vaccinated.

"Yet around 4,148 have yet to get vaccinated," he explained.

Central Jakarta Education II Sub-agency Head, Uripasih uttered, as many as 38,702 or around 94.7 percent out of 41,000 students had been vaccinated.

"This is a combined data from the number of students in private, public, madrasas and Islamic boarding schools," he stated.
